Temasek, EQT Infrastructure JV gets 55-MW solar bundle in India
- Indian renewable energy power manufacturer O2 Power has obtained a 55-MW portfolio of solar parks from residential panel maker Emmvee Photovoltaic Power, the buyer said previously this week.
The value of the procurement was not disclosed.
The obtained portfolio consists of plants found in the states of Karnataka and also Telangana, which are offering a portion of their result to state power circulation companies. The remaining part of the generation is utilized for captive power products to Indian pharmaceutical firm Dr Reddy's Laboratories.
O2 Power was established in 2020 as a joint venture of EQT Infrastructure IV and Singapore's sovereign wealth fund Temasek Holdings Pvt Ltd. When they developed the platform, the partners pledged to spend some USD 500 million (EUR 504m) in the brand-new renewable energy gamer, targeting greater than 4 GW of installed renewable power producing capacity.
O2 Power in June brought online a 250-MW solar park in Rajasthan. The company says it has power purchase agreements (PPAs) in position for regarding 2 GW of capacity.
