Tata Power completes 102-MWp floating solar park in India
- Tata Power Solar Systems Ltd on Saturday claimed it has commissioned a 101.6-MWp solar power plant, called India's biggest floating solar power project.

The center lies in Kayamkulam, in the bayous of the southwestern Indian state of Kerala.
The subsidiary of Indian power company Tata Power Co Ltd (BOM:500400) claimed it finished the installation within the stipulated duration even with encountering obstacles such as variable water depths, high sea trends and also severe water salinity. Functions included hauling floats and also photovoltaic panels for 3 km (1.9 miles) on a sea-linked nationwide river.
The power produced will be bought by Kerela State Electricity Board (KSEB).
Separately, Indian government-run power company NTPC Ltd (BOM:532555) said the commissioning of India's biggest floating solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) project on the storage tank of Kayamkulam gas power station has actually enhanced its installed renewable resource capability to over 2 GW.
