Alight has signed a PPA with Axfood for the largest solar park in Sweden, unlocking non-recourse project financing. SEB will provide the debt financing to build the 64MW park, which will be operational in 2024 and feature initiatives to promote biodiversity.

The transaction is expected to close by the end of the year, with a net profit of EUR 83 million. Voltalia has officially inaugurated its largest solar park to date in the UK. South Farm Solar Park has a capacity of 49.9MW, enough to cover half of the City of London Corporation's electricity needs.
