United States utility Alliant Energy has begun building work on a 675MW portfolio of solar projects in Wisconsin after securing approval from state authorities.

Alliant Energy intends 414 MW of new solar building in Wisconsin

Alliant Energy plans to include another 414 MW of solar in Wisconsin, rounding out the business's previously revealed plan to accelerate its shift to clean energy by including more than 1,000 MW of solar. Upon conclusion of its more than 1,000 MW of solar, Alliant Energy will possess and operate one of the most solar energy in the state of Wisconsin.

Alliant Energy to develop utility's first neighborhood solar project in Wisconsin

Alliant Energy is launching its first neighborhood solar project. The solar garden will lie near Fond du Lac, Wisconsin, nestled along the south side of state Highway 151. Alliant Energy expects to start building and construction on the 1-MW community solar project in the spring and complete it by the end of 2021.
