Taaleri Energia, a Helsinki-based renewables developer and fund manager, has achieved a second closing of its sixth renewable energy fund, Taaleri SolarWind III Fund, securing EUR 430 million (USD 476.4m). The fund has a maximum size of EUR 900 million and is open to new commitments until December 2024. It has a portfolio of 61 schemes totalling 5.9 GW in power generation capacity, including 50 onshore wind, solar and battery storage projects. Investors include EBRD, the European Investment Fund, KBC Verzekeringen, Varma Mutual Pension Insurance Company, Taaleri and the Taaleri Energia team.
