- Sunsure Energy secures INR 6.06B debt for 242 MWp C&I solar in Maharashtra, Uttar Pradesh; 300 GWh/year via long-term PPAs, powering growth toward 10 GW by 2030.
Partners Group-backed Sunsure Energy secured INR 6.06 billion (about $65.6 million) in debt to fund 242 MWp of C&I solar projects in Maharashtra and Uttar Pradesh. The package includes INR 4.61 billion from Aseem Infrastructure Finance for projects across states and INR 1.44 billion from RBL Bank for a site in Augasi, Uttar Pradesh.
Power will be sold to C&I customers under long-term PPAs, with expected annual generation of 300 million kWh, providing predictable cash flows favored by lenders. Sunsure supplies 700 MW of solar, wind and battery capacity, has 7.10 GW under development, and targets 10 GW by 2030.
