The new project is scheduled to come into operation by Q4 of the current year. The generation capacity of the installation will exceed 218 GWh per year. This is sufficient to supply electricity to more than 26.9 thousand houses annually.

The array will comprise more than 260 thousand solar modules and will be installed between Anza-Borrego Desert SP and Salton Sea. The solar farm will cover the area of more than 226ha.

Over the peak phase of the project’s construction, more than 400 jobs will be created. Once operational, the power plant will reduce carbon footprint by 154.3 thousand tons yearly. The facility will be tied to IID’s power grid.

Titan Solar 1 is the 2nd large scale California-based solar park developed by Sunpin. The first one was completed in 2018. ColGreen North Shore is located in the county of Riverside and has a capacity of 96.75 megawatts.
