Sungrow to provide 14 MW of microgrid batteries in Lebanon
- Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) has authorized offers to supply utility-scale micro-grid battery energy storage systems (BESS) with a total capacity of 14 MW/24.9 MWh in Lebanon.
The batteries will certainly be provided for 8 micro-grid projects as well as will be integrated with solar photovoltaic systems, the Chinese solar inverter manufacturer claimed on Wednesday.
The assets are slated for commissioning in the last quarter of this year to provide power to communities and also centers in the continuous power situation in Lebanon.
