Sungrow to provide 213 MW of inverters for solar complicated in Brazil
- Chinese solar inverter manufacturer Sungrow Power Supply Co Ltd (SHE:300274) revealed today it will provide 213 MW of its main inverter remedies for the 1-GW Caldeirao Grande 2 solar complex in Brazil's Piaui state.

The firm signed an agreement with the project marketer, Brazilian renewable energy firm Ibitu Energia. As part of the contract, Sungrow will provide its 6.25-MW turnkey central inverter remedy for 1500Vdc systems.
According to an earlier declaration made by the Piaui state federal government, the Caldeirao Grande 2 solar (PV) complicated will certainly cost a total of BRL 4 billion (USD 790m/EUR 723m), as well as will be constructed in 3 phases.
