Aneel introduced just recently it gave the green light to 7 solar photovoltaic (PV) projects had by the company's regional unit Statkraft Energias Renovaveis SA.

Named Sol de Brotas 1 with 7, each solar park will have an individual capacity of 32.5 MW and also will certainly be found in the municipality of Brotas de Macaubas, Bahia state.

According to Aneel's resolutions for each of the facilities, the solar plants are to begin procedures within 54 months after the publication date.

These projects will certainly serve as expansions to the 92.5-MW Brotas de Macaubas, 79.8-MW Morro do Cruzeiro as well as 519-MW Ventos de Santa Eugenia wind facilities, Statkraft noted.
