- Norwegian state-owned power business Statkraft AS has signed a power acquisition contract (PPA) with German renewables developer BayWa r.e to source electrical energy from its 41.7-MW Tordesillas solar farm project in Spain.

The subsidy-free plant is to create power for Statkraft for 10 years beginning in 2021, which the firm will certainly use to supply its Spanish and pan-European clients, it claimed in a press release.
Scheduled for commissioning in the very first half of 2021, Tordesillas is expected to generate around 74 GWh in the first year of full procedure.
The latest PPA is Statkraft's 3rd off-take agreement with Baywa r.e in Spain. The parties formerly signed arrangements covering the Don Rodrigo 1 and 2 solar farms, both subsidy-free and located near Seville.
