Sonnedix shuts funding for 3 MWp of solar farms in Japan
- International independent power manufacturer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has shut its initial portfolio financing in Japan for 2.8 MWp of solar farms.
The firm revealed today it safeguarded JPY 765 million (USD 6.22 m/EUR 5.67 m) from domestic lending institution The Iyo Bank Ltd (TYO:8385) for two high-voltage nuclear power plant.
The solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) plants, named Sonnedix Yonago and Sonnedix Hamamatsu, were obtained in December 2021, from the Japanese system of China's Trina Solar Co Ltd (SHA:688599). They lie in Tottori and also Shizuoka areas.
Yonago was on the internet at the time of the procurement, while Hamamatsu got to commercial procedure on March 26, 2022, Sonnedix claimed.
Through its local arm, Sonnedix Japan KK, the IPP currently manages close to 500 MW of PV capacity, consisting of projects under construction as well as in its development pipeline.
