Sonnedix commences building service 50 MW of solar in Italy
- International independent power producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd revealed on Monday it is proceeding with the building and construction of a 50-MW solar portfolio in Italy.

The photovoltaic (PV) bundle contains five projects located in the Lazio and also Piemonte areas.
Italian technological systems home builder TEA TEK and Energy Systems Services (ESS) will supervise of constructing the renewable plans. The last, a system of German renewables firm BayWa r.e. AG, will act as the EPC contractor.
Sonnedix expects to complete the construction of the plants between the second as well as third quarters of 2023.
As soon as up and running, the solar plants ought to be capable of producing greater than 87 GWh per year of clean electricity, sufficient to fulfill the need of over 33,000 local homes.
