Sonnedix acquires 22-MW solar portfolio in Italy
- Independent solar energy producer (IPP) Sonnedix Power Holdings Ltd has acquired a 22.3-MW solar portfolio in Italy from Spanish peer Solarig.

The newly-acquired solar (PV) bag includes 18 ground-mounted solar plants, functional because 2010 and also 2011. The assets gain from Italy's feed-in-tariff (FiT) scheme, Conto Energia.
The purchaser said in a statement that this transaction brings its portfolio of operating plants in Italy to greater than 275 MW of overall capacity. The company operates 133 PV farms in Italy, Chief Executive Officer Axel Thiemann claimed.
With the sale, Solarig now preserves a 4-GW pipe of projects under development in a total amount of 14 countries.
