- Dutch offshore PV professional SolarDuck B.V., together with teamwork partners, is developing a demonstrator for the use of offshore photovoltaics in Tokyo Bay.
In addition to SolarDuck, the "Tokyo Bay ESG" project includes Tokyu Land Corporation as land owner and also Japan's Everblue Technologies, Inc., whose part in the project is a computerized sailing boat. This scaled-down version of the "Hydroloop" concept developed by Everblue is intended to demonstrate the climate-neutral transportation of power generated on the high seas by unmanned vehicles.
