SEG Solar has opened a 2-GW N-type solar panel factory in Houston, Texas, producing the first of the 2 GW of modules annually. The facility, built on a $60 million investment, spans nearly 250,000 square feet and is now fully operational. The factory is equipped with automated intelligent manufacturing systems for high-efficiency N-type solar modules.

During the opening ceremony, SEG Solar rolled off the production line the first 585W YUKON N series module. The company plans to establish a global research and development center at the Houston site by the end of 2024, offering comprehensive testing services to ensure the reliability and performance of the modules under various environmental conditions.
