SECI Tenders for 1070 MW Solar Projects in Rajasthan

• SECI has provided a tender for setting up of 1070 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects in the state of Rajasthan (Tranche-III).

The Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) has actually issued a tender, inviting quotes from eligible firms for establishing of 1070 MW grid-connected solar PV power projects in the state of Rajasthan (Tranche-III).

The Solar Power Developers (SPDs) selected by SECI based on this RfS, shall set up the solar PV projects on a Build Own Operate (BOO) basis in accordance with the arrangements of this RfS document as well as conventional Power Purchase Agreement (PPA). SECI will participate in a PPA with the successful Bidder chosen based on this RfS for purchase of the solar energy generated by the projects for a duration of 25 years based on the terms, conditions and also arrangements of the RfS.

As per the RfS, the power obtained by SECI from the above Project has been provisioned to be offered to the State Buying Entity, i.e. Rajasthan Urja Vikas Nigam Limited (RUVNL), which shall be the Buying Entity under this RfS.

The Projects to be selected under this RfS shall be of minimum individual capabilities of 10 MW as well as shall be established in indispensable worths, with an advancing ability of 1070 MW to be established under the RfS. Already commissioned projects can not be thought about under this RfS. Projects incomplete or projects which are not yet commissioned will, however, be taken into consideration, in case these projects are not already accepted under any other Central or State Schemes.
