- Renewable Japan Co Ltd (TYO:9522) has commenced the building and construction of a 25-MW solar project in Fukushima prefecture.

The Shirakawa Omotego Solar Power Plant, as it is named, is expected to start commercial operation in January 2025, the programmer stated in a press statement.
Once up and running, the photovoltaic (PV) plant ought to be capable of producing adequate clean electrical energy to fulfill the consumption of some 5,600 ordinary households annually.
