Redeux Sells 200-MWp Solar Project to Scout Clean

Redeux Energy Partners LLC has sold a hybrid solar-plus-storage project in Western Kentucky, featuring a 200 MW DC photovoltaic capacity and a 40-MW/160-MWh battery energy storage system, to Scout Clean Energy. The financial terms of the transaction remain undisclosed. The project will provide four hours of energy storage capacity and will be located near a coal-fired power station, interconnecting to a MISO transmission switchyard.

This divestiture reflects Redeux's strategy to partner with industry leaders for renewable energy projects, as highlighted by managing director Aaron Bowlds. The company has a pipeline of approximately 7 GW of solar and 7 GWh of energy storage projects and plans to introduce another portfolio by early 2025.
