R Power hires contractors for Polish solar surge
- Contract with Nomad Electric and One for projects with virtually 400MW of capacity
R Power Group companies have signed agreements with Nomad Electric and Onde for the execution of 135 PV farms worth PLN334m (EUR73m).
Under the new arrangement 72 PV farms will certainly be developed by Nomad Electric and 63 farms by Onde.
The Group secured the rights in Poland to market energy from projects with a capacity of nearly 400MWp in the section of both small and huge projects in the public auctions performed in November last year and June this year.
The primary things of the agreements is the implementation of investments including the supply, installation, construction and appointing of a portfolio of PV nuclear power plant, situated throughout Poland.
Some of the projects use tracking systems - so-called solar trackers, which allow the PV modules to be relocated and positioned in the optimum direction and at the very best angle to the sun.
The scope of work omits the supply of PV modules and inverters.
The worth of the projects performed by Nomad Electric is practically PLN170m, and by Onde is PLN164m.
Nomad Electric is an entity supplying solutions in the field of design and turnkey construction (EPC) and solution and maintenance (Operations & Maintenance) of PV setups.
The firm provides solutions for both projects approximately 1MWp and larger, large-scale setups.
This year alone, the company has completed PV projects of around 80MWp.
Onde is a leading infrastructure specialist for the renewable energy sector, particularly wind farms and photovoltaic or pv farms in Poland.
It likewise operates in the roadway and design construction industry, carrying out investments for road facilities in Poland.
The business operates within the Erbud Group. Onde debuted on the Warsaw Stock Exchange in July 2021.
