Qair, a French independent renewable power producer, has announced the launch of a 60-MW solar park in Poland’s West Pomeranian Voivodeship. Situated in the town of Kalisz Pomorski, the solar farm occupies an area of 82 hectares and is equipped with 112,000 solar panels and 240 inverters, along with 8 transformer stations and a 110-kV power line. It is projected to generate enough electricity to supply around 20,000 homes per year. Qair has been active in Poland since 2015 and aims to have over 500 MW of capacity in operation in the country by 2024.
