Palisade Investment Partners has secured a AUD 258 million loan to support the expansion of its renewable energy platform in Australia. The 10-year credit facility will help de-risk the wind and solar power portfolio of Intera Renewables, a platform set up by Palisade over a year ago.
Intera currently includes five operational renewable energy assets, including wind farms in South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria, as well as the Ross River solar farm in Queensland. The new debt refinances a portion of a larger financing facility secured by Palisade in March 2023. Palisade's Renewable Energy Fund owns a 50% stake in Intera, with the remaining 50% held by co-investors such as Hesta and the Clean Energy Finance Corporation.
