Statkraft's German Solar-Battery Power Plant
Statkraft has been awarded a contract to build a 47 MW solar power plant and 16 MW battery storage facility in Zerbst, Germany. This project, expected to commence in summer 2025, will provide energy to power around 14,000 households. Part of Statkraft's ambitious growth targets, the firm also secured a 500 MW offshore wind project in Ireland.

BayWa r.e. to Build Record-Breaking Solar Rooftop in Germany
BayWa r.e. and Goodman Group have agreed to build 18 MWp of rooftop solar capacity at Marl Logistics Centre, Germany's largest single-roof solar system. 43,000 modules will be installed by end of 2023. Equinor Launches Test Production at 60-MW PV Farm in Poland
Equinor has launched a 60-MW solar park in Poland's Pomerania province. Spread across 55 ha, Zagorzyca features 110,000 solar panels and is estimated to generate 61 GWh/year. Equinor's Danske Commodities is marketing the solar farm's power to the Polish market. The company is also developing Lipno with expected completion in 2024. SKF Sails into Enel's Spanish Solar Site

Duke Energy Inks 199-MW Solar PPA in Indiana
Duke Energy Corp has signed a 20-year contract for a 199 MW solar project to generate enough green energy to power 35,000 homes. As part of the Indiana Integrated Resource Plan, Duke Energy is moving towards a cleaner energy future with 2,218 MW of solar, 450 MW of solar-plus-storage, and 6,200 MW of wind power.

VSK Energy to Invest $1.5B in US Solar
