RWE Secures 300 MW+ Solar PPAs in Virginia
Germany-based energy giant RWE AG has agreed to eight Power Purchase Agreements with Dominion Energy Inc. for seven projects in Virginia, producing 750,000 MWh to meet the electricity needs of 70,000 homes. RWE Clean Energy will serve as long-term owner-operator and has an 80-MW off-take deal plus DER PPAs in place.

49.9MW Solar Farm Proposed in Cornwall
EDF Renewables UK announces plans to develop a 49.9-MW solar farm near St Stephen in Cornwall, South West England. 9,562 households will be served with power generated, and a community fund of GBP 20,000 per year will granted. Planting of wildflower meadows, hedgerows and trees is also part of the project. Formal consultation and a planning application to Cornwall Council to follow.

Midsummer Gets EU Grant to Build 200-MW CIGS Factory
