Osaka Gas Energy Oceania and Australian renewable energy company ACE Power have agreed to co-develop over 500 MW of solar and battery storage projects in Australia. The collaboration, called Project Genesis, will focus initially on the development of a portfolio of projects in the states of New South Wales and Queensland. Long-term collaborations on the already developed portfolio of projects is also possible, the partners said. Additionally, Osaka Gas Energy Oceania is already an owner of the 132-MW North Brown Hill wind farm at Hallet, South Australia. This latest agreement is in line with Osaka Gas' Carbon Neutral Vision, and long-term e-methane goals.
