Polish company Onde SA has acquired a 63-MWp solar project in Poland, expanding its project development portfolio. The specific project, located in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, is expected to begin commercial operations in mid-2027 with grid-connection agreements already in place. Onde's development portfolio now stands at around 850 MW, with plans to grow to 1.6 GW-1.8 GW in the next two-three years.
The value of the purchase and the name of the vendor were not disclosed. Onde's president Pawel Sredniawa mentioned that the company has available cash and external financing, but may seek investors for some shovel-ready projects to free up capital for other schemes.
