Israeli renewables company Nofar Energy Ltd has started construction on a 26-MW solar farm complex in northern Serbia, with an investment of EUR 25 million. The Ada complex will consist of two solar farms in the Vojvodina province, occupying a total surface area of 116 hectares. Turkish contractor Girisim Elektric has been selected to build the facilities, with plans to connect them to the grid by the end of 2024.
