NHOA Energy has commissioned a 31 megawatt hour (MWh) battery storage system in Peru for Engie. The system, located at Engie’s ChilcaUno thermoelectric power plant, was inaugurated in the presence of the Peruvian Minister of Energy and French Ambassador to Peru. This project is expected to enhance Peruvian grid stability and reduce CO2 emissions at the electrical system level. NHOA Energy's Global Engineering Center in Milan provided full origination, delivery, and service capabilities, while coordinating with its Americas platform. Luca Roccia, vice-president of Americas for NHOA Energy, expressed his pride at the completion of the project in spite of the global macroeconomic and geopolitical environment. He thanked Engie for their impressive support and cooperation in the successful completion of the project. This project marks NHOA Energy's presence in Latin America and their commitment to advancing clean and flex energy solutions and infrastructure for the benefit of the country.
