Neoen wins 180 MW of wind, solar projects in French auction
- Renewable power manufacturer Neoen SA (EPA: NEOEN) has protected 11 projects completing 180 MW of wind and also solar power in the French government's PPE2 technology-neutral tender.
Specifically, the firm was awarded 2 solar projects of a consolidated 42.1 MWp and also 9 wind schemes, totalling 137.8 MW.
Situated in the Grand Est area, the 19.3-MWp Isle-sur-Marne and the 22.8-MWp Morhange 2 solar projects are expected to enter the building and construction phase in 2023. The latter is an extension of Neoen's photovoltaic or pv (PV) farm based in the same town.
The wind projects are spread out across the areas of Nouvelle-Aquitaine, Normandie, Grand Est, Bourgogne-- Franche Comte as well as Pays de la Loire.
