Neoen wins 130MW in French solar tenders
- All 9 projects granted under CRE 4.10 are due to be commissioned in 2023
Neoen has been granted 130MW of ability in France's require tenders for ground-based solar projects.
The 130MW granted in CRE 4.10 includes 9 projects from 4MW to 43MW in size and also Neoen is the majority investor in each.
Six out of nine plants are to be improved rehabilitated land, such as former quarries, landfill websites or former aerodromes.
The nine projects are mainly situated in the southwest (Nouvelle Aquitaine) and eastern (Grand Est) regions of France with also projects in Indre-et-Loire, the North and also in Sarthe.
The plants are scheduled to be commissioned in 2023.
Guillaume Decaen, French development supervisor at Neoen, said: "All nine projects submitted won their tenders, which highlights Neoen's management in France.

In the southwest (Landes, Nouvelle-Aquitaine), the 13MW Labouheyre project located on a formal timber shop takes Neoen's complete operating power in Landes to 70MW.
Also in Nouvelle-Aquitaine, the Poullignac plant in Charente is built on a former landfill site. These projects take the variety of Neoen solar parks in the region to 18.
