Nautilus Solar purchases 47-MW area solar portfolio in Maine

- Nautilus Solar Power LLC has acquired 8 area solar projects in Maine with a mixed direct current (DC) ability of 47.2 MW, it introduced on Thursday.
The firm has acquired the portfolio from developer ISM Solar Advancement LLC for an undisclosed quantity. This is the 3rd transaction between the two, according to the statement.
The projects concerned lie in Cumberland, Knox, Oxford and also York regions, and are seen to get in the building phase in the 3rd quarter of 2021.
As soon as up and running, the solar parks will create nearly 70 million kWh of electricity per year. They are part of Maine's Net Energy Billing programme.
