Naturgy building 683 MW of renewables in Spain

- Spanish utility Naturgy Energy Group SA (BME: NTGY) said on Monday that it is presently building 683 MW of wind and also solar farms in Spain, with strategies to switch them on over the coming months.

It stated these projects represent an investment of EUR 528 million (USD 527.4 m).
Among the projects unfinished there is a group of ten wind and solar farms completing 228 MW that will commence procedure before completion of the year. Naturgy will likewise begin 9 new projects in the coming weeks, it stated in the press release.
The utility included that it anticipates to close this fiscal year with 500 MW of new capacity set up, and start 2023 with a target of 1,500 MW of additional renewables.
