- MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Fund LLC, part of German property monitoring team MPC Capital AG (ETR: MPCK), stated it had actually closed the procurement of the 6.4-MWp San Isidro solar farm in El Salvador on March 2.
The official close comes almost three months after the fund first announced the deal. Nothing else information were provided.
Construction of San Isidro was finalised in late December 2020, as well as with that said landmark the solar farm became part of the financial investment portfolio owned by MPC Caribbean Clean Energy Fund, MPC Capital announced at the time.
The San Isidro solar farm reached commercial procedure date (COD) on January 29, MPC Caribbean claimed today.
The plant has a 20-year USD-denominated power purchase contract (PPA) in position with CAESS, a subsidiary of US energy business AES Corp (NYSE: AES).
