Mississippi Power issues solar tender

Mississippi Power has issued a tender for solar projects of at the very least 20MW.
Qualifying proposals sent with this request for proposal (RFP) procedure will be reviewed by Mississippi Power.
The company will determine whether there are economic and also feasible power projects ideal to satisfy the needs of its clients.
Mississippi Power will take into consideration proposals for 25-year term energy-only PPAs for solar photovoltaic or pv renewable resources from bidders who are not affiliates of Mississippi Power or Southern Company.
It would get all the ecological attributes from the projects.
Resources needs to be located in Mississippi and has to be straight adjoined with Mississippi Power's transmission system.
Bids for the RFP should be received by 15 March 2022.
