Matrix Renewables purchases 4.6-GW portfolio of solar projects in United States

- Spanish-American renewable resource platform Matrix Renewables on Monday stated that it has obtained a 4.6-GW portfolio of utility-scale solar power projects across the main US from Minneapolis-based SolarStone Partners.

On top of the acquisition, Matrix Renewables additionally authorized an agreement with SolarStone to jointly develop the portfolio and also as companions, discover and originate extra possibilities across various markets in the US.
No other details were divulged.
Matrix, which is backed by worldwide investing platform TPG Rise, has renewable resource projects across Europe, North American and also Latin America. At present, its portfolio is loaded with 2.3 GW of functional, under construction and also near ready-to-build solar PV, wind and power storage space projects, with a more 7.3 GW in the pipeline, the Madrid and also Miami-based firm says.
