Matrix, Energia Aljaval to co-develop 300 MW of solar in Italy

- Madrid-based platform Matrix Renewables, backed by property supervisor TPG, has actually become part of a partnership with Spanish renewable energy company Energia Aljaval to co-develop a minimum of 300 MW of solar plants in Italy.

Matrix Renewables said on Thursday that with this new agreement, it nears 1 GW of projects in various phases of growth throughout the nation.
The company showed up in the Italian market in September 2021 via a co-development partnership with Horus Green Energy Investment for almost 420 MW of solar plants in Sicily and also Lazio.
Today, Matrix Renewables' portfolio includes 2.1 GW of operational, under-construction, or near shovel-ready solar photovoltaic (PV) projects and also a more 2.7 GW of renewable resource plans under development throughout Europe, the US and also Latin America.
