UK solar and storage developer Luminous Energy has achieved financial close on the 28.5MW Bracon Ash Solar Farm in Norfolk, England. Belectric has been contracted to construct the solar farm, and will also provide day-to-day operations and maintenance once operational in 2024. The project will also provide £10,000 a year (index-linked) for community projects, administered by a structure established by Luminous Energy. The project is estimated to achieve a 203% net biodiversity gain and is in line with South Norfolk Council's emissions reduction targets and the UK's net zero 2050 target. Luminous Energy was advised by TLT, CMS Cameron McKenna Olswang LLP, Fichtner Consulting Engineers Ltd and WTW. Novuna was advised by CMS Cameron McKenna Olswang LLP, JLL and Green Cat Renewables Ltd.
