Les Mousquetaires Secures 95MWp Solar PPA
Jul 7, 2023 12:36 PM ET
- Les Mousquetaires, a leading agri-food producer in France, have signed a 95 MWp photovoltaic PPA to supply electricity to 1,000 of their facilities. This is the second largest corporate PPA in France to date, and a major step towards their carbon footprint reduction goals.
The deal for 95 MWp of photovoltaic (PV) parks is the second largest corporate power purchase agreement (PPA) in France to date. The power supply is to commence in 2027 and will be sourced from a 77-MWp solar park in Meuse and a 18-MWp plant in the north of France. The 95 GWh per year generated will provide enough electricity for 1,000 of Les Mousquetaires' agri-food production facilities and sales outlets. This PPA is an important step for Les Mousquetaires towards their goal of reducing their carbon footprint.
What Is Les Mousquetaires' Goal with 95MWp PV Parks?
- Duke Energy's Indiana plan is an initiative to reduce carbon emissions and increase renewable energy consumption.
- The plan calls for a 95 MW photovoltaic (PV) installation to be installed in 2027.
- The 95 MW PV will be installed in two solar parks in France, one in Meuse and one in the north of France.
- The 95 GWh of electricity produced will be enough to power 1,000 of Les Mousquetaires' agri-food production facilities and sales outlets.
- Duke Energy's Indiana plan is part of their commitment to reducing their carbon footprint and increasing renewable energy consumption.
- Duke Energy is also engaging in other initiatives in the state of Indiana to reduce carbon emissions and increase renewable energy consumption, such as investing in energy efficiency projects and encouraging customers to switch to renewable energy sources.
