Enfinity Global Inc has agreed to sell a 40% stake in a 400-MW operating solar portfolio in the US to Japanese utility Kyushu Electric Power Company Inc. The portfolio comprises 28 active utility-scale solar power plants located across California, North Carolina and Idaho, and is majority owned by Enfinity with a 60% equity interest. Enfinity also serves as the long-term asset manager of the portfolio. This deal is part of Enfinity's strategy to attract long-term partners and expand in the US. Over the past few days, the firm also secured $316.2 million from an alternative asset manager and signed a PPA with an Italian utility.
