JKL Energy suggests 1-GW solar power facility in Brazil's Piaui

- Brazilian energy firm JKL Energy plans to develop a 1-GW solar photovoltaic or pv (PV) power complicated in Piaui state, the local government revealed on Thursday.
The solar project will contain 4 million panels in overall, separated into portions of 500,000 panels per 500 hectares (1,235.5 acres) in between the districts of Guaribas and also Caracol.
No monetary information were revealed throughout the conference between government officials and the company's reps.
Guv Wellington Dias emphasized that the land circumstance has already been solved and the parties have established the information for the project to go into the energy public auctions set up for September 2021.
According to data from power market regulator Aneel, Piaui currently has 2,084.27 MW of authorised solar power.
