Japan's Sinanen places 2-MW solar plant in operation in the house

- Japanese diversified company Sinanen Holdings Co Ltd (TYO:8132) introduced on Tuesday its subsidiary Sinanen Co Ltd has turned on a 1.98-MW/ 2.88-MW straight existing (DC) solar energy plant it established in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan's Kanto region.

Called Utsunomiya Sinanen Solar Park, the facility is located on around 52,065 sq m (560,423 sq ft) of idle land situated in Utsunomiya city. Sinanen expects the photovoltaic or pv (PV) facility to produce around 3,505 MWh in its very first year, sufficient to fulfill the annual power usage of roughly 811 ordinary houses.
The PV park's output will certainly be sold to Japanese utility Tokyo Electric Power Company Holdings Inc (TEPCO) under the feed-in-tariff (FiT) system for renewable energy.
Utsunomiya Sinanen is the very first solar plant for the company in Tochigi Prefecture and also assists bring the team's total power generation capacity to 32 MW.
