Japan's Eneos participates in 121-MW solar project in Hyogo

- Japanese oil business Eneos Corp, an unit of Eneos Holdings Inc (TYO:5020), introduced this week it will invest in a 121-MW solar photovoltaic (PV) project in Hyogo prefecture.
Eneos said it will invest independently in the operating company that manages the solar system and also will certainly help wage the construction of the power plant. It, nevertheless, did not disclose the name of the entity or the precise quantity of its financial investment.
The PV facility is set up to commence commercial operation in December 2023.
Eneos, which is aiming at carbon nonpartisanship by 2040, has a neighborhood portfolio comprised of 21 solar plants, two onshore wind power plants and also one biomass power plant.
Outside the country, the firm is participating in the solar energy generation service in the United States as well as in Australia, Eneos kept in mind.
