Innovo, Solarfields type JV to establish solar, storage space in Italy

- SF Grid Parity Srl, a device of Italian engineering company Solarfields Group, has formed a joint venture (JV) with Innovo Group Srl to create a pipeline of greater than 300 solar PV schemes as well as at least two power storage projects in Italy.
The news of the new service, named Innovo SF Srl, was announced by law practice Watson Farley & Williams (WFW), which suggested Solarfields.
Innovo holds a 51% risk in the JV, with SF Grid Parity having the staying 49%. Solarfields Sette Srl will certainly serve as designer for the pipe projects, WFW said.
In the preliminary pipeline are 18 PV projects completing around 83 MW as well as under advancement in Sardinia, as well as 2 storage space projects with an incorporated capacity of 100 MW in Sicily.
