Impax offers 110MW Dutch solar website
- German pension plan fund Versicherungskammer Group gets project for a concealed sum
Impax Asset Management's renewable energy framework fund has offered the 110MW Vlagtwedde solar farm in the Netherlands to German pension fund Versicherungskammer Group for an undisclosed sum.
The Fund got the Vlagtwedde solar farm, situated in the district of Westerwolde, Netherlands, in August 2019 from Dutch designer Powerfield.
It came with a construction agreement from UK-based professional SolarCentury integrated into the purchase.
The site is composed of 350,000 panels and also covers an area of 100 hectares making it the biggest functional solar farm in the Netherlands to date, according to Impax.
The solar farm is anticipated to create power for around 30,000 households.
