Ilmatar plans 40-MWp solar park in Southwest Finland

- Finnish renewable energy plants developer and also driver Ilmatar Energy Ltd plans to build a 40-MWp solar park in Pöytyä municipality, the Southwest Finland region, the firm announced on Tuesday.

Ilmatar said in a statement that it is getting ready to request the permits required to build the center on 60 hectares of land in an area with superb conditions for solar energy generation and existing power lines.
If the project is understood, the resulting solar park will certainly be able to generate concerning 40 GWh of electrical energy every year. Conclusion could occur in 2024.
Ilmatar expects to own as well as operate the plant during its entire lifecycle of as much as 40 years.
