Igneo Seals Majority Stake in US Power Producer Soltage

- Igneo Infrastructure Partners has acquired a majority stake in US renewable power producer Soltage LLC, enabling the expansion of its 1.9-GW pipeline of solar and storage projects. Prudential Private Capital has sold its equity interest with Co-founder and CEO Jesse Grossman and the management team retaining shareholdings.
Global infrastructure investment manager Igneo Infrastructure Partners has acquired a majority stake in US renewable power producer Soltage LLC. The value of the transaction was not disclosed, but it will enable Soltage to change its business model to a full Independent Power Producer (IPP) and build out its 1.9-GW identified pipeline of solar and storage projects. Investors, including Prudential Private Capital, have sold their equity interest in Soltage. Co-founder and CEO Jesse Grossman and the management team will retain shareholdings in the company. The acquisition will provide Soltage with infrastructure expertise and capital resources as it expands its ownership of clean energy assets.
