Hive Energy gets grid connection capacity for 200 MW of solar in Greece
- UK-based solar programmer Hive Energy Ltd has secured grid connection capacity in Greece for three solar projects amounting to 200 MW, located in the main part of the nation.

The firm said the projects, of 40 MW, 100 MW and 60 MW in dimension, are currently all set to participate in tenders or indication exclusive power purchase agreements (PPA). It anticipates to get an installment licence to begin building in the second quarter of 2022.
The designer called the protecting of binding connection terms for the projects a "significant achievement" as it defined this phase in the Greek market as "notoriously tough". It expects getting connection terms quickly for an additional 67 MW.
In Greece, Hive has a total amount of 617 MW of projects, including 467 MW photovoltaic (PV), 100 MW storage space and 50 MW eco-friendly hydrogen plants. The projects go to numerous stages of development and all have environmental assessment authorizations in place.
