Gujarat opens up tender for 110 MW of grid-connected solar plants
- Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has invited bids to set up an aggregate 110 MW of grid-connected solar energy plants across 3 substations of the Gujarat Energy Transmission Corporation Limited (GETCO). Bidding process closes on September 16.
Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) has welcomed bids to set up an accumulation 110 MW of grid-connected solar energy plants-- in sizes varying from 10 MW to 55 MW-- at different substations of Getco in the State of Gujarat.
The project sites with respective power evacuation usefulness and land schedule are Sanesh in Bhavnagar area (55 MW, 100 hectare), Pachchham in Ahmedabad (40 MW, 92 ha), and Nikava in Jamnagar (15 MW, 25 ha).
The appointing period is 15 months for the Sanesh plant (55 MW), 12 months for the Pachchham plant (40 MW), and also 10 months for the Nikava plant (15 MW).
To be qualified, the bidder needs to have performed comparable work or have plant installment under progress-- in India or outside-- for a cumulative 66% of the complete quote capacity, with a minimum 1 MW scale of plant. Out of this mounted capability, collective 90% needs to have been appointed as well as in operation in India, with at least one solar PV power plant having 66% of the appointed capacity.
