Greenbacker gets 80-MW Montana solar project from Broad Reach Power
- Greenbacker Renewable Energy introduced that through an entirely owned subsidiary, it bought an 80-MWAC pre-operational solar project from Broad Reach Power.
The project, MTSun Solar, is presently under development in Yellowstone County, Montana, with an expected industrial procedure day of July 2022. It has a long-term PPA in position with the investment-grade utility Northwestern Energy.
This deal is the 2nd between GREC and also BRP, following the previous's acquisition of the 80-MW Fall River solar project in South Dakota late last year. It is likewise GREC's 2nd solar project in Montana.
