GCL System Integration Technology Co Ltd has launched the first phase of its 10-GW N-type solar cells factory in Wanzhi district, Wuhu City, China. This USD 1.12 billion facility complements and bolsters the existing supply chain, adding scalability. Once the project is fully completed, N-type cells will account for 87% of GCL SI's cell production capacity with an efficiency of over 22%. The GCL Group is engaged in the full PV industrial chain, from silicon materials, wafer and cell production to module manufacturing and energy storage system integration.
